Happy Holidays From The Seahorse
We want to thank all of you who have made it a point to stop in during the time of the year where small shops like us could really use the business. This update is to give the community an idea of where we are, what we are doing, and what we are thinking about going forward.
We are having some good days here, some slow days, and some days where we feel very fortunate to get the rushes and the crowds. The most important thing is that we are getting to know so many of you who live nearby and are learning what this place needs to be in order to be a happy member of the neighborhood and a good steward of our property. We are hoping you will stick with us, continue to visit, and allow us to serve you. For us to deliver all of the things our neighbors say they want to see here, we need to be in it together. We knew it was going to be tough starting up in the winter season and we know there will be more bumps in the road but if you are in then we are all in for the next phase.
Here are our plans for the rest of 2019 and early 2020.
December 16 is our last Monday open. We wanted to do the Monday Night Football thing and this had some varying success. Until next football season, we will be closed Mondays. We will still be closed Tuesdays for the time being.
December 19 and 20 are ugly sweater nights. Come in wearing your ugly Christmas sweater and get an entry for a contest for gift certificates, free lodging, and more. Each drink you buy with an ugly sweater gets you an entry in the drawing.
We will be closed December 22 through Christmas and will reopen December 26.
We are going to send out offering for New Years Eve here. If we get enough takers we are going to do it. $15 per person gets you a 4 hour private window from 9:30 to 12:30AM. Complimentary charcuterie, cheese, smoked fish, smoked chicken, chips, salsa, and sweets and a free champagne or sparkling cider for the midnight toast. All beers will be $5.00 during this period.
